Hey Faith Family,
These are unprecedented times, but it has not taken God by surprise! He is still in control! At the same time these days are for the church to stand strong and show the world we we stand for; Jesus, hope and eternal life.
That said, we are suspending our regular in-person church service for this Sunday. I have a personal ministry philosophy to not cancel church if I can be there. However, out of love for our church and fellow people it is wise to take guidance of those who know more about this situation, our health leaders. In talking with leadership of the church we all believe it is in everyone's best interest to minimize our risk of passing along any possible sickness while at the same time maximizing our reach for Christ.
GOOD NEWS: We will still be able to worship together this Sunday morning! We are already working on putting together a worship service for us to be able to worship the Lord together in our homes. We will be posting a worship service Sunday morning on our church Facebook page (searchFaith Church, Hamilton Ohio or simply CLICK HERE). We will also be posting it on Youtube and our church website www.aliveatfaith.org. A link for Youtube will be sent to you soon. While I am saddened that we aren't able to be together in person, we still can worship God together from wherever we are because God is ever-present.
SOMETHING NEW: We believe prayer changes things because we invite God into our situations. If you have a prayer request, you can email me, text me or call me. ALSO, we have set up a new email address: email@example.com if you would like to send it that way, it will automatically be forwarded to our Church Elders and we will collectively be praying.
I ask a few things of you in this time:
1. Please be in PRAYER for your church, your pastor, and your church family. Reach out, make a phone call or send a letter of love and encouragement.
2. Please help us SPREAD THE GOSPEL of Jesus by "sharing" our upcoming facebook messages and youtube videos to your friends on your own social media platforms. These days lots of people are online so let's leverage our platforms to share the hope of Christ with our neighbors.
3. Please be ENCOURAGED that we will get through this difficult time together. This affects everyone, so let's stick together.
4. Please continue to SUPPORT Faith Church. Our tithes and offerings are still needed to help the ministry of this church continue in these uncertain times. You can mail it in and we are also in the process of setting up online giving as another avenue of generosity.
You are loved!
